Cafe Solace

Cafe Solace, at Our Lady's College (OLC), fostered budding student baristas for 4 years. The SCIPS team, Chris and India, have left a remarkable impact on the community of OLC, from training the students to serving up hot and cold refreshments and delicious treats.

From appearances at Open Days, to road trips with the van to QCMF, Cafe Solace developed customer service skills to support the students as they look for work in their local communities.

Open to the school and local community each morning, every drink and food item purchased helped support the training of the students. Partnering with Merlo, students were able to receive specialised training, and use professional quality equipment.
