CERT III IN SCHOOL-BASED EDUCATION SUPPORT

Proudly funded by the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative

Ready for a change?

Whether you’re a parent returning to the workforce, seeking a new career path or ready to begin your journey in the education sector, becoming a teacher aide could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. A Certificate III in School Based Education Support opens the door to meaningful, flexible and rewarding work in local schools.

Through the Queensland Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative, SCIPS has partnered with Strategix Training Group to deliver a supportive, high-quality program designed specifically for mature-age learners.

Our Work Ready for the Classroom program runs over 12 weeks and includes:

  • Two days per week of face-to-face theory delivery and

  • 100 hours (approximately 18 days) of vocational placement in a local school.

SCIPS will arrange your school placement and provide wrap-around support throughout your training- helping you gain confidence, build experience and prepare for real employment opportunities in the education sector.

The best part? It's completely government-funded and free of charge!

Start your new pathway today with SCIPS and Strategix!
